To find out sweat rate you have to take your weight right before you run, and then right after you are done running. You then subtract the difference, and add the number of oz of fluid you consumed during that time to see how many oz you sweated. It will very based on temp and intensity. And the more fit you are the higher your metabolism is, and you sweat even more after a while. If you have gained weight during your workout, then you have over hydrated. It is normal to loss 1-2% of your body weight in a longer endurance event that does not need to be replaced, but more than that needs to be replaced, and you are probably under hydrating.
